Dr Cheryl Soo

Cheryl is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow with an honours degree and PhD in psychology. She is currently working projects on the psychological sequelae after traumatic brain injury (TBI), including a Cochrane Systematic Review on the psychological treatment for anxiety in people with TBI. Cheryl is also project manager for a series of validation studies of the Care and Needs Scale (CANS; Tate, 2004), a measure of support needs for people with TBI, and its children’s equivalent, the Paediatric CANS (PCANS; Soo, Tate Williams, Croudace, Waugh, 2005). Cheryl currently holds Honorary Research Psychologist posts at both the Children's Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick where she works collaboratively on projects focusing on emotional functioning and support needs of children with acquired brain injury.

(5) Health outcome measurement
